I purchased this one piece to protect recent surgical incisions on my abdomen from the sun but normally I'm a bikini girl. (I LOVE Ark's bikinis). I love the low cut front and exposed back of this style which keeps it from feeling frumpy.
I followed the size chart and purchased a medium. (32C, 25 inch waist, 37 inch hips, 19 inch torso). I am petite and pear shaped so finding a one piece that fits me is very difficult. Out first I thought the swimsuit was too small, like way too small, but I gave it a chance and got it wet. It truly does stretch out quite a bit after wearing. It is still a bit snug in the butt but I'm confident after a few more wears it will fit like a glove.
The fit of the bottom is definitely more revealing than Ark's cheeky bottoms. The top part comes very low but I can still move around fine without worrying about anything popping out.
It is quite comfy after a few wears. My husband thinks it looks great, I feel gorgeous in it, the color is the perfect tone of grey and the fabric is double lined and super smooth.
Ark Swimwear is made so well, so flattering, that for the first time in my life I feel super confident in swimwear with no padding or lining in the bust. They say they are made for minimal tanlines, but for me it's about unapologetically rocking my body without any embellishments and feeling confident in my own skin.

Thoughtful design, super flattering and clearly made from quality material. I can't express enough how much I *love* this suit. I am normally not a one piece gal, but my goodness is this a flattering and adorable suit. And to clarify - this suit is beautiful and flattering, even on those of use who aren't super-model gorgeous like the beauties modeling the suits here. Ark's customer service, shipping, quality... all are consistently top notch, and they're the only brand of swimsuit I wear now. I seriously cannot recommend them enough. Simple, quality, timeless pieces.

When designing our grey swimsuit, we wanted it to be supportive and comfortable through its construction. The shape of our one-piece swimsuit is a custom backless design that offers coverage and support at the front while leaving your back on show. While sticking to our minimalist nature, the cross-shaped thin straps on the back are there to provide support while also considering tanlines. Our grey swimsuit will initially feel a little tight when it is first tried on and then should mould to your body shape after few wears in the water. The straps, in particular, will stretch approximately a couple of inches, therefore drop the front coverage down and give you more room to move.
Our grey swimsuit is the perfect way to show a little less skin than an ordinary bikini. The structure of our grey swimsuit enhances natural curves and gives your bust a more ‘fuller’ look without the need for additional features such as underwire or padding. The construction of our one-piece eliminates the need and want of these features. We wanted the neckline to be a true square neckline when it is worn not when it is taken off and layed flat. To ensure it remained square when it is on we have designed the shape to be slightly curved so when it is stretched it is a perfectly straight line across your chest. This square neckline structure allows for an even tan across the chest, back and shoulders.
In terms of colour, our grey swimsuits are perfect for those that don’t stray away from monochrome shades. We have chosen a light coloured grey rather than a darker tone because we feel like this will suit all skin types.
