We understand sizing can be hard! We also appreciate that you don't always know what suits your body until you've tried it on. We're proud to offer returns for any reason.

We are big believers of mindful shopping.


Thinking of buying? No one wants to go through the returns process, including us, so we have invested heavily on prevention through our Size & Fit Guide. Please take the time to read it, compare your measurements to the 5 models and swipe through the images of front, back and side of the styles you’re considering. It should give you all the info you need to make a confident and informed decision. Rest assured, if it doesn't quite fit you can return for 100% Store Credit.


Thinking of returning? Don’t forget we are all about that second-skin look and feel! If you want to achieve the same look as our campaign imagery, your pieces should feel tight when new – read our guides to understand how tight it should be for each style. Also, make sure you sort out your tan lines before you decide whether a cut suits you or not - it makes a world of difference! Trying them on a second time really helps. After you’ve worn them wet a few times, allowing them to dry on your body, your pieces will mould to your body – stretching where they’re under tension - they will become tailor-made to your body and curves.

Swimwear is like lingerie - it's of sanitary nature. There's a significant number of returns that we cannot restock and resell, so please understand that we do not encourage you to use your home as a changing room. Please also note that we go through a strict inspection process when we receive returns – so please only try your swimwear on after a shower, before you put on any lotions, creams, makeup or deodorant. We accept returns of unworn, unwashed and undamaged items within 30 days of receipt, for 100% Store Credit, or a Refund at a fee (see below for more detail).

RETURNS

All our policies are in line with the ACCC. In addition to this, we have extended to offer 100% Store Credit or a Partial Refund with a fee, provided you meet the conditions outlined below. You will need to be signed in to your Ark Swimwear account to submit an online return request. We will only accept returned item(s) that have been submitted using our returns portal.

RETURN CONDITIONS

You’re more than welcome to return your item(s) for Store Credit, but before you ship your item(s) back ensure you follow the below. If you’re not going to keep your items, you need to care for them as much as we do.

1) The swimwear must be in 'as-new' condition - unwashed, unworn and unused.
2) Each item must be neatly folded in its correct fabric bag with the correct label on the back. Without this label we won't be able to process your return.
3) Your swimwear must have the black size tags attached, and hygiene liners remain on any bikini bottoms and one pieces you're returning.
4) Your gift box is yours to keep, it's our gift to you! Some of our customers use their gift box to store their swimwear or jewellery in. Do not include your gift box in the return.
5) Once you post your item back, it is your responsibility to check your tracking number to see when it arrives to us. Ark Swimwear will not accept responsibility for lost or delayed items. If this is a concern, ensure you take insurance out on your return postage. Please note we will not inform you when we receive your item at Ark Swimwear Warehouse.
6) We will only accept one return per order. To clarify we do not accept goods that have already been redeemed with Store Credit from a previous return.

We will inspect your items. Please look after your swim as much as we do. We often receive items back with deodorant, moisturiser, spray tan, and makeup marks, as well as scents - cigarettes, washing detergent, perfume etc. We will not accept these, and you will be responsible to cover the shipping and handling to get them back to you. Given the nature of swimwear, the only way to avoid this is to try on after a shower over clean underwear, before applying any moisturisers, oils or makeup.

HOW TO RETURN YOUR SWIMWEAR:

We have an Online Returns Portal which will guide you through the process. To access, you will need to be logged in to your account. You're more than welcome to return your item(s) for Store Credit or Refund (see below), but before you ship your item(s) back ensure you follow the below.

1) Log in to your Ark Swimwear account. If you checked out as a Guest, you will need to complete your account setup by selecting Forgot Password. Your past and future orders will automatically link to your account
2) Go to My Orders and select Return for the order you would like to return.
3) Select the item(s) for Return and follow the steps to initiate your return request.
4) You are responsible for shipping your items to us, we then cover the handling and logistic to get your new items to you. Make sure you keep your tracking number safe, as this allows you to keep track of your order whilst it's on its way to us.
5) Ensure your return meets the Return Conditions before you send it back to us.
6) Whilst we endeavour to process within 48 hours once your parcel arrives at Ark, you should allow up to ten (10) business days for us to process your return and issue your Store Credit or Refund.
7) Orders placed using a Store Credit from a return will be shipped via standard post (not Express), unless you include a further purchase with your order, which we will then automatically upgrade to Express Shipping, or you can choose to pay an additional shipping fee for Express Shipping.

STORE CREDIT

Once your return has been resolved, your 100% Store Credit will be added to your account. To see your Store Credit balance click here.
Your Store Credit is valid for three (3) years. Orders placed using Store Credit will be shipped via regular mail. Once your Store Credit has been issued, we cannot transfer your Store Credit to a Refund.

REFUNDS

If you do not want our 100% Store Credit option, we can offer you a partial refund. Refunds are issued less a fee of 20% per item plus $10 (€10/£8) per return. For example, if you returned an item that you purchased for $70, you will receive a $46 refund. If you return two items that you purchased for $140, you will receive a refund of $102.

CANCELLATIONS

We do not offer cancellations - when you confirm payment, you are agreeing to commit to your purchase.

EXCHANGES

We do not offer exchanges. Instead, select the "Store Credit" Return Reason when submitting your online return. Returning for Store Credit allows you to ensure it goes to the correct address, enables you to choose Express shipping if preferred, and you can also select a different item if you've changed your mind in the meantime. Our 'Return for Store Credit' option is up to 5 business days quicker than if we were to offer exchanges.

EDIT YOUR ORDER

We will do everything we can to edit your order however, we may not see your enquiry in time as we aim to dispatch within 24hours.

FAULTY OR DAMAGED ITEMS

Whilst we hope this never happens, if you believe your swimwear is faulty or damaged, please accept our apology. Please create a return request via our online portal with the Return Reason selected as 'Faulty/Damaged' - you must include a photo of the faulty/damaged item. Our Customer Support team will work with you to issue a replacement in the first instance. Failing that, a refund will be provided. We do try to make this as streamlined as possible, so by providing images straight away, we should be able to resolve immediately.
