I don't know what this fabric is, but it is luxurious. Super soft and supple - which I wouldn't really describe swimwear to be but this is!
The fit is definitely snug, and that's advised accordingly and it's worthy advice to adhere to. While also super minimal (style and literally), the fit is great so I don't have to worry about popping out in stronger waters, which is just one less thing to think about!

the material is such high quality and is so comfortable, especially when you get it wet. It was definitely snug when i first got it, but it stayed put even when I was pretty active in and out of the water. Very flattering on the girls, too! :) This was my first Ark purchase, and I'm on the site because I just bought another. 10/10 recommend. Seems to run a bit small though-don't size down.

Our crop top swimsuit is the perfect staple that enhances your bust and hugs your figure. Our grey crop top swimsuit is just like a classic bandeau with the extra supportive benefits of shoulder straps. We wanted to create a bikini top that provided minimal tanlines while still offering support. When you try our grey crop on for the first time the spaghetti straps are supposed to be tight over your shoulders. We have designed our crop this way because we found that after a few wears in the water the straps tend to stretch approximately a couple of inches, influencing the coverage to drop down and mould to your natural bust and body shape. A lot of thought went behind the designing process of our grey crop top swimsuit. We wanted the neckline to be a true square neckline when it is worn not when it is flatlayed. To ensure it remained square when it is on we have designed the shape to be slightly curved so when it is stretched, it is a perfectly straight line across your chest.

Comfortable fit: To maximise comfort we have made our crop with no additional features such as underwire or padding.
Supportive: While designing our crops structure, we wanted to ensure it had supportive straps to avoid it from ever slipping down.
Padding: Our crop has no padding. We found bikini tops with padding become heavy when wet and the removable inserts rarely stay in place. Instead, we doubled up on the fabric so every piece is lined with the same luxe fabric as on the outside.
