We loved the idea of a staple bralette bikini, but what we didn’t love were the existing options on the market. Every bralette bikini that we managed to try was either uncomfortable, unflattering or both.
The only comfortable bralette bikinis available did not shape our boobs and seemed to flatten them rather than give them a fuller and elevated look. While comfort was a huge factor for us, our mission was to find the supportive benefits of underwire and padding without compromising comfort.
We found this was a big issue for bralette bikinis because traditionally, pattern makers use darting, underwire or padding to structure the bikini. Therefore, it led to the misconception that bralette bikini tops will not be supportive if they do not contain these features.
After conducting all of our research, we decided we wanted to craft the ultimate emerald green bralette that provides support and comfort through its construction.
