When browsing the market for bralette bikinis, we loved the idea of a classic yellow bralette but what we didn’t love was the existing options available. Every yellow bralette we tried was either uncomfortable, unflattering or both.
The only comfortable bralette bikinis on the market did not shape our boobs and seemed to flatten them rather than give them a fuller and elevated look. In saying this, we wanted the supportive benefits of under-wire and padding but not want our bralette bikini to be digging into our skin or constantly soggy.
We recognised that this was a big issue for bralette bikini tops because traditionally, pattern makers use darting, underwire or padding to structure the bikini. Therefore, this has led to the misconception that all bralette bikini tops will not be supportive if they do not contain these specific features.
